Rethinking Decisions for Biodiversity and People

PLANET4B is a research and learning initiative working to improve how decisions are made for biodiversity and people. We believe that reversing biodiversity loss requires more than technical solutions — it demands a fundamental shift in how we value nature, relate to one another and make choices across all levels of society.

Our work brings together researchers, educators, policymakers and communities to explore new ways of thinking, learning, and acting. Through values-based courses, reflective resources, and practical tools, we support changemakers to challenge assumptions, navigate complexity and create just, sustainable futures. At the heart of PLANET4B is a commitment to care, collaboration and transformative change.

Planet4B Care-full Courses and Resources

Our Courses and Resources are designed to turn insight into action. They offer practical tools, reflective materials, and learning pathways that help individuals and institutions make more informed, values-driven decisions. Whether you are shaping policy, facilitating community dialogue, or leading research or education, PLANET4B’s materials support care-full, transformative approaches that put biodiversity and people at the centre.

Care-full Resources and Care-full Courses have been developed as part of PLANET4B. Care-full Scholarship was developed as part of RECOMS, a Horizon 2020 Project.
